Quality Improvement Initiatives

The TMF QIN-QIO welcomes health care providers to join the Quality Improvement Initiative Network to receive more information about tools and resources to help providers improve processes and performance.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has authorized the TMF QIN-QIO to provide technical assistance to health care providers and practitioners in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and the territory of Puerto Rico to improve the quality of care for Medicare beneficiaries. This technical assistance may include development of a quality improvement initiative that employs successful interventions and proven methods to improve health care quality and lower costs for the Medicare program.

TMF QIN-QIO Annual Learning and Action Network Conference

Register today for the TMF Quality Innovation Network Quality Improvement Organization's (QIN-QIO) free, virtual conference on May 9-11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT. This year, providers from all health care settings will have the opportunity to attend sessions of their choice on three separate days. This educational event will feature prominent voices in health care discussing the following topics: antibiotic stewardship, the National Quality Strategy, opioid misuse, sepsis early detection and treatment and social determinants of health. KEPRO - The Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization

Health care providers from all care settings are invited to register to attend this webinar to learn about the provider-based services KEPRO offers. KEPRO is the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization for more than 30 states. The organization offers three services to Medicare beneficiaries and their families: beneficiary complaints, discharge appeals and immediate advocacy. This webinar will present a basic overview of these services as well as an introduction to some provider-based services. This event will take place on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 1 – 2 p.m. CT.
